Kaathal - The Core (Malayalam)

This Mammootty starrer directed by Jeo Baby of The Great Indian Kitchen (2021) fame traces the story of a couple whose very marriage is brought under scrutiny after a major revelation comes to light. Kaathal - The Core also stars Jyothika, who is making her return to Malayalam cinema after a 14-year gap.

Napoleon (English)

When: November 24

Ridley Scott has managed to bring the much revered historical figure, Napoleon Bonaparte's life to the silver screen with Joaquin Phoenix playing the emperor. The war epic will trace Napoleon’s war conquest and legacy through the prism of his complicated relationship with his muse and wife Josephine. The film also stars Vanessa Kirby, Edouard Philipponnat, Youssef Kerkour, Anna Mawn and Matthew Needham.

Dhruva Natchathiram (Tamil)

When: November 24

Gautham Menon’s spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram (2023), starring Vikram in the lead role, has been in the making for a long time. The film will focus on undercover agent John, based in the US, who is tasked with tracking down his leader with the help of his 12-member covert team of spies. The film also has Simran, Ritu Varma, Parthiban and Raadhika Sarathkumar.

Bad Manners (Kannada)

What will happen when a newly appointed police officer loses his service pistol at a crime scene? This intriguing logline is the basis for this procedural thriller starring Abhishek Ambareesh, Rachita Ram and Tara. It is directed by Duniya Soori.

Aadikeshava (Telugu)

This romantic thriller will be the story of a couple who faces several challenges in their efforts to stay united. Aadikeshava stars Panja Vaishnav Tej, Sreeleela and Joju Goerge. The film is directed by Srikanth N Reddy.

Jhimma 2 (Marathi)

This sequel to Jhimma (2021), which told the story of seven women who decide to embark on a journey of self-realisation together, see the continuation of the events of the first film. The road movie stars Sayali Sanjeev, Kshitee Jog, Nirmiti Sawant and Rinku Rajguru and is directed by Hemanth Dhome, who also helmed the first instalment.

Sugar Factory (Kannada)

Arya and Adithi meet up in a pub and are forced to pretend to be in a relationship when an unlikely challenging situation arises in their friends' group. This romantic comedy features Darling Krishna, Rangayana Raghu and Sonal Monteiro. The film is directed by Deepak Aras.

Devil: The Secret British Agent (Telugu)

This period epic set in the Madras Presidency of British India in the year 1945 deals with the efforts of a British Secret Agent to solve a mystery. The action thriller is directed by Abhishek Nama and stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Samyukhta Menon.

Philips (Malayalam)

This family drama deals with a happy-go-lucky widower, who lives with his three children. However, one day their lives take a wild turn because of an outside force. Directed by debutant Alfred Kurien Joseph, the film stars Mukesh, Innocent, Noble Thomas and Navani Devanand.
