Custody (Telugu/Tamil)

A Tamil-Telugu bilingual that follows a police constable on a mission to protect the life of a criminal. The Venkat Prabhu actioner stars Naga Chaitanya, Arvind Swamy, Krithi Shetty, Sarath Kumar and Priyamani in the lead roles and features a soundtrack by Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Live (Malayalam)

When: May 12th

In this social thriller, Anna, whose life turns upside down when she becomes a subject of bogus news, and Dr Amala, a victim of online harassment, come together to battle the dark side of the media. Directed by VK Prakash, the film stars Mamta Mohandas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Soubhim Shahir and Shine Tom Chacko. 

Neymar (Malayalam)

A dramedy that follows young boys and their adventures when a dog enters their lives. The film is directed by Sudhi Maddison and stars Mathew Thomas, Naslen, Shammi Thilakan, Vijayaraghavan and Johny Antony.

Love Again (English)

When: May 12th

In Love Again, Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays a brooding woman who finds some solace in sending romantic texts to her dead fiance’s old cell phone number. When the man to whom the number has been reassigned reciprocates, they form a unique connection. The film co-stars Sam Heughan and Celine Dion.

Jogira Sara Ra Ra (Hindi)

When: May 12th

Nawazuddin Siddique and Neha Sharma team up for a colourful family entertainer centered on a wedding in Lucknow. Directed by Kushan Nandy, the film also features Sanjay Mishra and Mahaakshay Chakraborty in prominent roles.

Good Night (Tamil)

When: May 12th

Billed as a slice-of-life comedy, the Vinayakan Chandrasekaran directorial takes on the subject that’s rarely explored as a central idea: snoring. In the film, Manikandan essays a man with snoring issues who struggles with this issue when it starts affecting his life and relationship. The film also stars Meetha Ragunath, Ramesh Thilak, Balaji Shakthivel and Bagavathi Perumal.

Music School (Hindi/Tamil/Telugu)

When: May 12th

Music School promises to address the adverse effects of the prevailing norms in the Indian education system in the form of a musical, featuring a soundtrack by Ilaiyaraaja. The film features Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi as teachers who want to put up ‘The Sound of Music’ show with their students, despite the resistance from parents and the system. Directed by Paparao Biyyala, the film stars features Gracy Goswami, Ozu Barua and Prakash Raj in supporting roles.

Raavana Kottam (Tamil)

A rural action drama directed by Vikram Sugumaran, known for helming the 2013 film, Madha Yaanai Koottam. Raavana Kottam stars Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Anandhi, Ilavarasu and PL Thenappan, among others in main roles.

Chatrapathi (Hindi)

When: May 12th

A remake of SS Rajamouli’s 2005 Telugu film by the same name, Chatrapathi sees Srinivas Bellamkonda step into the shoes of Prabhas as a refugee who fights the tyrants and emerges as a leader for the oppressed. The film, which marks the Hindi debut of Telugu filmmaker VV Vinayak, stars Nushrratt Bharuccha as the female lead.

Ab Dilli Dur Nahin (Hindi)

When: May 12th

Based on the true of story a small-town Bihar boy who comes to Delhi to fulfill his dream of cracking the IAS exams, the film, starring Imran Zahid and Shruti Sodhi in lead roles, promises to depict the struggles faced by IAS aspirants. The film stars director Mahesh Bhatt in a prominent role and is directed by Kamal Chandra.

Raavrambha (Marathi)

The film chronicles the life of Ravrambha Nimbalkar, a valiant warrior who dreams of freedom along with Shivaji Maharaj. The Anup Ashok Jagdale directorial stars Shantanu Moghe, Om Bhutkar, Monalisa Bagal, Kushal Badrike, and Santosh Juvekar in prominent roles.

Pizza 3 The Mummy (Tamil)

This quasi-sequel will follow the protagonist (Ashwin Kakamanu) on a probe to solve a series of murders that take place exactly where he delivers food. The film is directed by newcomer Mohan Govind.

The Story of a Beautiful Girl (Telugu)

When an innocent lower middle-class girl vanishes, intense probe and media coverage follow, but will they ever prove successful in unearthing who’s behind her missing and save her from the danger? The film is directed by Ravi Prakash Bodapati and stars Nihal Kodhaty, Drishika Chander and Madhunandan in lead roles.

Janaki Jaane (Malayalam)

In this comedy, Navya Nair plays Janaki, a small-town girl, who gets married to Unni Mukundan (Saiju Kurup) and the film follows the complications that arise amidst the newlyweds. The ensemble cast includes Johny Antony, Sharafudeen, Kottayam Nazeer and Anarkali Marakkar.

Fatafati (Bengali)

While Phullora Bhaduri excels as a tailor, she is mocked for being on the heavier side of the weighing scale. Fatafati follows her efforts to become a fashion influencer while battling these odds. The film’s cast includes Ritabhari Chakraborty, Abir Chatterjee and Swastika Dutta.
