Bramayugam (Malayalam)

When: February 15

Mammootty's most anticipated psychological horror flick Bramayugam is directed by Rahul Sadasivan of Bhoothakaalam (2022) fame. The film, shot in stark black and white, tells the story of an ageing patriarch of a run-down mansion that wreaks havoc on the life of a trespasser, gradually blurring the line between fantasy and the supernatural. Bramayugam co-stars Arjun Ashokan, Siddarth Bharathan and Amalda Liz.

Thundu (Malayalam)

When: February 16

This Biju Menon starrer is an unconventional cop story that features the exploits of a police officer on the verge of a promotion fending off a few obstacles that come his way. The comedy entertainer directed by debutant Riyas Shereef co-stars Shine Tom Chacko, Johny Anthony, Unnimaya Prasad and Althaf Salim.

Andhakara (Malayalam)

When: February 16

What happens when a disabled taxi driver is dragged into the crimes committed by a female customer? Will he find a way out or cave to the mob chasing her for her crimes? This psychological thriller directed by Vasudev Sanal features Divya Pillai, Chandunath G and Dheeraj Denny.

Siren (Tamil)

When: February 16

An ambulance driver (Jayam Ravi), who was earlier imprisoned for homicide, tries to start a new life after coming out of jail. However, he is dragged back to the world of crime and a tragic past that haunts him. Directed by debutant Anthony Bhagyaraj, the film co-stars Keerthy Suresh, Yogi Babu, and Anupama Parameshwaran.

Paagal Vs Kaadhal (Telugu)

When: February 14

Dealing with two parallel love stories involving a one-way romance and an emotionally destructive relationship, this romantic drama is a deconstruction of how modern relationships work and how people find love in the most unexpected of ways. Directed by Rajesh Mudunari, the film stars Vijay Shankar Paddana, Anuhya Saripalli, Vishika Keerthi, Brahmaji and Shakalakala Shankar.

Raajadhani Files (Telugu)

This social justice drama revolves around the face-off between a corrupted politician and an entire village that stands up against the exploitation of baseline farmers. Directed by Bhanu Shankar, the film stars Pushparaj Akhilan, Veena Panchaparvala, Vaani Viswanath and Vinod Kumar.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona (Telugu)

A man goes in search of some urgently required answers to the mystical world of Bhairavakona, from where there's seemingly no way out. The film stars Sundeep Kishan, Varsha Bollamma and Kavya Thapar and is directed by VI Anand.

Saramsha (Kannada) 

When: February 15

A writer accidentally encounters a story inside another writer’s head that slowly unfurls as a real event. The film dealing with magical realism is directed by Surya Vashista. It stars Deepak Subramanya, Surya Vashista, Shruthi Hariharan and Shweta Gupta.

Manday Haida (Kannada)

When: February 16

Can a street-smart guy salvage a failing relationship before time runs out? This film is an action entertainer set against the backdrop of a romance prone to many obstacles. Directed by Srikanth Pandavapura, this film features Abhay Chandru, Bhumika Bhumesh, Bala Rajwadi and Manohar Gowda.

Ravike Prasanga (Kannada)

This comedy of errors follows the exploits of a girl trying to win over a guy by any means and her biggest challenge in this mission happens to be a fancy designer blouse. Directed by Santhosh Kodenkiri, the film features Geeth Bharathi Bhatt, Suman Ranganathan and Rakesh Maiya.

Shakhahaari(Kannada)

When the lives of few innocent people gets intertwined, they find themselves trapped in a murder mystery. Directed by Sandeep Sunkad, the film stars Rangayana Raghu, Gopal Deshpande and Nidhi Hegde.

The Holdovers (English)

When: February 16

Marking the reunion of Alexander Payne and Paul Giamatti, after their winning collaboration in the now classic coming-of-age drama Sideways (2004), The Holdovers is one of last year's most critically acclaimed films, finally having its Indian release this week. The film deals with a curmudgeonly teacher, who is forced to spend his Christmas holidays with a troubled teenager, and a grieving caretaker, only to form a bond that transcends their differences. The film features Paul Giamatti, Dominic Sessa and Da’Vine Joy Randolph in the leading roles.

Madame Web (English)

When: February 16

Madame Web, the latest to the long list of standalone superhero franchises, deals with a paramedic in Manhattan with clairvoyant abilities, who gets connected to three women by way of her visions and ends up being part of a bigger cause. The film starring Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor and Emma Roberts is helmed by SJ Clarkson.

Land of Bad (English)

When: February 16

A callback to the second tier 90’s era action cinema, Land of Bad follows a rescue operation gone wrong salvaged by a rookie Air Force combat controller and a seasoned drone pilot. The high-stakes survival thriller stars Russel Crowe, Liam Hemsworth, Luke Hemsworth and Ricky Whittle.

Dashmi (Hindi)

When: February 16

A theatre group, disguised in their onstage avatars as gods, decide to take out unconvicted rapists. What happens when a cop begins to investigate the murders? The film directed by Shantanu Anant Tambe features Vardhan Puri, Gaurav Sareen, Aadil Khan and Monica Chaudhary.

Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay (Hindi)

When: February 16

Heera and Rani decide to tie the knot to escape familiar pressure while Rani aims to become an IAS. However, a misunderstanding leads both families to believe that they are expecting a child. Directed by G Ashok, the film stars Guru Randhawa, Saiee Manjrekar and Anupam Kher.

Kasoombo (Gujarathi)

Based on the novel 'Amar Balidan', this period film is set against the backdrop of Alauddin Khilji's menacing intent to rob the sacred temples and cultural heritage of ‘Shetrunjay’. It narrates the brave journey of Dadu Barot and 51 brave souls from Adipur village. Directed by Vijaygiri Bava, the film stars Dharmendra Gohli, Darshan Pandya and Shraddha. 

Oye Bhole Oye (Punjabi)

A goofy do-gooder from a village falls in love with a wealthy city woman only to be dragged back to his roots in an attempt to save his village from an impending tragedy. This peculiar love story features Jagjeet Sandhu, Irwinmeet Kaur and Dheeraj Kumar and is directed by Varinder Ramgarhia.
