Maidaan is a biographical sports drama of India`s greatest football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim, an esteemed football coach who revolutionised the sport in India. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao as Parbhu Ghosh

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (Hindi)

When: 10th April

Kabiir, a revenge-seeking scientist is keen on using AI to destroy India. When soldiers Firoz and Rakesh embark on a mission to recover a stolen weapon from Kabir, will they succeed? Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manushi Chhillar.

Mirza (Bengali)

When: 10th April

Mirza grows up amidst crimes. When his life is at stake, will he take down all opposing ganglords and fight for his survival? Directed by Sumeet Goradia, the film features Ankush Hazra, Oindrila Sen and Kaushik Ganguly in the leading cast.

Aavesham (Malayalam)

When: 11th April

Directed by Romancham (2023) fame Jithu Madhavan, the action comedy will see Fahadh Faasil playing an unhinged, quirky gangster, a first-of-its-kind character for the actor. It co-stars Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Pooja Mohanraj and Ashish Vidyarthi.

Varshangalkku Shesham (Malayalam)

When: 11th April

Set in the late 1970s, Varshangalkku Shesham charts the journey of two friends who wish to make it to the big screen in Tamil Nadu’s ‘Kodambakkam’, a cinema district generally referred to as the ‘haven for film aspirants’ back in the day. The film stars a powerful ensemble cast consisting of  Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Nivin Pauly, Neeta Pillai, Kalyani Priyadarsan, Basil Joseph and Aju Varghese.

Jai Ganesh (Malayalam)

What happens when a wheelchair-bound comic artist comes across certain superpowers? Directed by Ranjith Sankar, the film stars Unni Mukundan, Mahima Nambiar, Ashokan, Jomol and Ravindra Vijay.

DeAr (Tamil)

When: 11th April

A young man’s sleep is affected when he discovers his wife’s snoring problems. This creates certain misunderstandings in the relationship and leads to a series of issues. Directed by Anand Ravichandran, the film stars GV Prakash Kumar and Aishwarya Rajesh.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi (Telugu)

When a film crew shoots a horror film in a deserted palace, they realise that the place is haunted by a family that used to live there. This horror comedy stars Anjali, Srinivas Reddy, Satya, Sunil, Ali, Ravi Shankar and Satyam Rajesh and is directed by Shiva Turlapati.

Sriranga Neethulu (Telugu)

Three people in their mid-twenties from different walks of life navigate adulthood and related problems in this hyperlink narrative. Directed by Praveen Kumar VSS, the film stars Suhas Pagolu, Karthik Rathnam, Viraj Ashwin and Ruhani Sharma in the leading roles.

Romeo (Tamil)

A husband tries to win the love of his wife, who marries him because of familial obligation. Directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, the film features Vijay Antony, Mrinalini Ravi, Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh.

Marivillin Gopurangal (Malayalam)

When: 12th April

Based on a famous line from the evergreen song ‘Marivillin Gopurangal ‘ from the classic comedy ‘Summer In Bethlehem’ (1997), this coming-of-age drama deals with two couples with different outlooks on life. Directed by Arun Bose, the film stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Shruti Ramachandran, Sarjano Khalid and Vincy Aloshious.

Muktha Manasu (Kannada)

When: 12th April

A young man living in a village without proper transportation facilities falls in love with a girl. However, when he steps out of the small village, his life changes forever. Directed by RC Rangashekar, the film features Mohan Ranganatha, Manya Gowda, Shobhraj and Manjunath Bilikere.

Mercy Killing (Telugu)

When: 12th April

This film addresses mercy killing using Article 21 of the constitution which ensures that every individual is entitled to live and die in dignity. Directed by Venkatramana Surapalli, the film features Parvateesam, Vullingala Aishwarya, Baby Harika and Sai Kumar.

Vaa Pagandaya (Tamil)
