FC Disruptors: Sidharth Meer

After starting out as a cinematographer on Anand Gandhi’s short film Right Here, Right Now (2003), Sidharth Meer transitioned into the job of a colourist — a vertical he loosely describes as “Photoshop for moving images”. He founded the post-production company Bridge Postworks in 2017 and went on to supervise work on some of the most visually distinctive films of recent years including Court (2014), Asha Jaoar Majhe (2014) and Cat Sticks (2019). After working on the Oscar-nominated documentary Writing with Fire (2021), he’s been the colorist for some of this year’s most striking and celebrated films — the documentary All That Breathes, which won the Golden Eye award at Cannes, and the feature films Badhaai Do, Thar and Monica, O My Darling.
