Arjun played a daily wage labourer who rises up the ranks of a smuggling syndicate to become its head. From the Srivalli hook step to gestures like the way he strokes his beard and tilts his shoulder, everything Arjun did as Pushpa Raj became a sensation with audiences all over India. Not only is Pushpa one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time, the Hindi dubbed version became a massive hit in its own right.
