Ghazal singer Musafir Ali (Manoj Bajpayee) sets off on an overnight train journey from Bhopal to Delhi, only to find that the man sharing his compartment, Aslam Baig (Gajraj Rao), is someone he'd sat across from on same journey 10 years earlier. Why does Ali want to prevent his co-passenger from recognizing him? And how long can he hope to keep up pretenses? The third segment of Netflix's Ray anthology, produced by Ajit Andhare, Tipping Point and Viacom18 Studio, Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa is also its best. The short is a gripping meditation on the eccentricities of human nature that stays true to the spirit of Barin Bhowmick's Ailment, the Satyajit Ray short story on which it is based, bringing it to life with some inventive camerawork.
