Based on the hit BBC series Luther, in which Idris Elba played the titular detective, Rudra sees Devgn step into the role of the law enforcement officer with a solid track record. Amid shots of artfully arranged corpses, women being bound and threatened with a shaving razor, and massive explosions, we learn that Rudra's marriage is disintegrating as he suspects his wife of having an affair.
Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar (Ventilator, Ferrari Ki Sawaari), the six-episode series marks Devgn's streaming debut. It will release on DisneyPlus Hotstar.
