Sanjay (Vikrant Massey) and Aditi (Kriti Kharbanda) have a college meet-cute. They fall in love, graduate, but then comes the age-old parental opposition — a plot point we thought we left behind, but Devanshu Singh and writer Manoj Kalwani bring it back to the streaming universe with humour and cheer.
They enlist a theater troupe, including Gauhar Khan who plays "Dilli ki Meryl Streep" to first play Sanjay's parents in front of Aditi's parents in Jaipur, and then play Aditi's parents in front of Sanjay's parents in Bihar. This involves two marriages, two baraats, and thus, 14 pheres.
Directed by Devanshu Singh (Chintu Ka Birthday), the film premieres on Zee5 on July 23.
