In a recent media interaction, Raashii Khanna who will next be seen in the upcoming Karan Johar produced film Yodha starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead, opened up about how she felt like a newcomer during the trailer launch of the film. While talking about what took her so long to do a Hindi film, she stated that she wanted a script that made sense. The versatile powerhouse said, “I was like only if it makes sense, if the script makes sense. I have to love the character. It has to be a good package for me to come into it and this film was that.”
"I feel it's like a paisa vasool film," Khanna said about Yodha and added that the film has ‘thrilling elements’, and ‘romance’ and is an ‘edge of the seat thriller. The actress expressed how she was nervous when the trailer was launched because she wasn’t sure of how she would be received in Hindi films, stating “There was so much anticipation, there was so much nervousness.“
Yodha, featuring Khanna and Malhotra in the lead, also stars Disha Patani in a pivotal role. Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha is all set for a theatrical release on March 15.
