Fighter has much heavier action than Pathaan, says Akshay Oberoi

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Akshay Oberoi said that the action in Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter is much heavier than Pathaan.

Oberoi, who will also be seen in Fighter claims the film to be the best aerial action entertainer.

Raining praises on Fighter director Siddharth Anand, Oberoi said that no one portrays men and women like Anand. “Shah Rukh Khan has looked his best in Pathaan and Hrithik looked his best in War,” said Oberoi, applauding Anand’s attention to detail.

Oberoi also revealed that the VFX team for Fighter is from the US. When asked if Fighter can be compared to Top Gun: Maverick, Oberoi said that any comparison is fruitless and that Fighter is a very Indian story.

This is the first time Oberoi is working with Roshan. Fighter also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor and is scheduled to release in January 2024.
