Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of August 14th to August 20th, 2023. The numbers are estimates based only within India. This list does not include any streaming releases from the South.

1. Big Boss OTT Season 2 - Jio Cinema

Views (million): 8.7

For the second season of Big Boss, host Salman Khan welcomed all the contestants including Falaq Naaz, Fukra Insaan, Manisha Rani, Puneet Superstar, Aaliya Siddiqui, among others.

A commando swings into danger to save the country. The show, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, stars Prem, Adah Sharma, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Shreya Singh Chaudhry and Amit Tigmanshu Dhulia.

The successful supernatural-romance-thriller-drama returns for a fourth season.
