Makers of Drushyam 2, starring Venkatesh Daggubati have released a trailer today. The film is a remake of the Mohanlal– starrer Malayalam film, Drishyam 2. It is also the sequel to the Telugu film, Drushyam

The trailer introduces Rambabu (Venkatesh Daggubati), who is now a theater-owner, wishes to fulfill his childhood dream of producing a film. His wife, played by Meena, isn't as approving of his theater and his dreams. She asks if making the film is really necessary while saying that he should focus on getting his daughter married. In a quick black-and-white montage, we see incidents that take place previously in the first film. Geetha (Nadhiya) and Prabhakar (Naresh), parents of Varun (Roshan Basheer) who was killed are still clueless as to what happened to him and are determined to find out the truth. The new Inspector General of Police, played by Sampath Raj re-opens the investigation and says that while Rambabu is busy focusing on his film, they must unearth the truth. "There is no truth that time does not reveal" says the trailer as Rambabu assures his family to not fear and that they will be safe.
