A new Netflix dating show is enough to raise eyebrows, but Sexy Beasts comes with the dottiest of twists: singles arrive at blind dates dressed in elaborate creature/monster costumes and make-up that totally obscure their physical features. The bottom line: could you fall in love with somebody based on personality alone?

The participants cannot reveal their faces to each other; they go on multiple dates before finally making a 'decision' – without having actually seen any of the dates! 'What is your ideal woman?' asks one. 'Personality is everything,' says her date. Another participant is more honest: 'Ass first. Personality second.'

Sexy Beasts comes to the platform on July 21st.
