The youth of Mumbai are lost to drugs, and the elders to crime. Who but Radhe (Salman Khan), an encounter specialist, 97 encounters and counting, armed with his bandana and bravado, can clean up the mess? Randeep Hooda plays the criminal mastermind behind the barbarism, dressed in suave coats in Mumbai’s thick heat. Mumbai itself looks desaturated.
Disha Patani plays Diya, the love interest, and sister to Jackie Shroff‘s character. Directed by Prabhudeva, there is the usual mess and mass, with Radhe as messiah, and stabs of knife and comedy, dialogue and dance.
Produced by Salma Khan, Reel Life Pvt. Ltd, and written by A.C. Mugil and Vijay Maurya, the film releases this Eid, May 13th in theatres, on ZEE5 for ZEE5 Premium subscribers, and on ZEEPlex with a pay-per-view model.
