Masaba Masaba Trailer Talk: Netflix’s Fictional Peek Into Masaba And Neena Gupta’s Lives

In the trailer for the new Netflix series Masaba Masaba, designer Masaba Gupta and her mother, actress Neena Gupta, play fictionalized versions of themselves. Masaba fends off requests to design outfits for a client's dogs, navigates relationship troubles, blind items and internet trolling and tries to figure out how to run her fashion empire while facing a creativity crisis and a lack of funds. We get glimpses of the mother-daughter relationship, in which both seem equally petulant, yet supportive of each other.

The show also stars Neil Bhoopalam and the trailer teases cameos by Farah Khan, Kiara Advani and Mithila Palkar. Directed by Sonam Nair, Masaba Masaba drops on Netflix on August 28.
