Trailer Talk: Ranveer Singh Is Voice Of Deadpool 2

If any Bollywood star had to play the Hindi voice of the irreverent, foul-mouthed Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), it was Ranveer Singh. No surprise then that the new trailer of the dubbed Hindi version of Deadpool 2 has Singh snarking from behind the MC superhero's mask. Singh's personality, with that slightly jokey lilt, is unmistakable. And he swears quite a bit: "MC, BC, tu kya DC Universe ka hai?".

Although one wonders what happened to the earlier Hindi version, which didn't have a Bollywood star, but was more irreverent with its references to culturally specific things such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Deadpool 2, produced by 20th Century Fox, releases on 18 May.
