Neeyat, a murder mystery film starring Vidya Balan as detective Mira Rao, started streaming on Prime Video on September 1. The film is directed by Anu Menon and produced by Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment.
Neeyat tells the story of Rao’s investigation into the mysterious death a billionaire, who had gathered his close friends and family at a castle in Scotland for his birthday celebrations. All of the guests become suspects and Rao must use her skills to bring the truth to light.
Commenting about the film Balan said, “Neeyat is a gripping story and an intense murder-mystery that throws a light on the complexities of human nature.
The film’s strength lies in its well-developed characters and captivating screenplay, which makes it a compelling choice for audiences globally.
Neeyat will stream exclusively on Prime Video in India and across 240+ countries and territories from September 1. The film was released theatrically on July 7.
