A song is made by mixing alot of things. How you mean it, how you say those words. People very easily say you have alot of experience so this was supposed to happen. I don’t think to sing a new song any experience is enough.
The real reason is because it inspires us. We think are we really not reaching out? We can still do what we want to. We never had any high hopes from ourselves. All we know and all we can do is make music. We just decide what we want to make and make it.
It’s simple. It’s about how deep your desire is. I believe that whatever you plan a lot does not happen because you plan alone, you need to find like-minded people around you to execute your vision. That secret desire is always there as you are.
after years we thought music bought audience to the theatre. Whenever we make a song it is not actor specific. It is singer specific. We would discuss if arijit singh sings something so how would this word sound like.
Thanks to lockdown. To make art you have to go within. You are so connected to the outer world. You get busy with alot of things. You just have to meet yourself. Listen to yourself and correct yourself as you could be wrong.
When we were asked not to do a Gujarati song in Coke Studio, we did a 7-minute Gujarati song in Coke Studio which is one of the most tracked Coke Studio song. We always make music that we want to make.
