This biographical legal drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh, is based on a true story. The film follows the journey of Erin Brockovich, a legal assistant who discovers the dark secret of a company which affects the health of the residents in the area.

Rocky (1976) 

This iconic film by John G. Avildsen is the first installment in the Rocky franchise. The film is about Rocky Balboa, a small-time club fighter. He gets an unlikely shot at the world heavyweight championship held by Apollo Creed. We see Rocky pursue this goal to earn respect for himself. 

Wonder (2017) 

This is a coming-of-age story about a 10 year old and his family. The film is directed by Stephen Chbosky, based on the 2012 novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio. It is a story of August, who suffers from facial deformity. He newly joins a private school and has to  endure bullying.

Legally Blonde (2001) 

It is the story of a fashionable sorority queen, Elle. After getting dumped by her boyfriend who is going to study Law at Harvard, she decides to pursue the same goal as him. Just by being herself, she breaks everybody’s stereotyped notions about her.  

Jo Jeeta Vohi Sikandar (1992) 

This is a coming-of-age film, directed by Mansoor Khan. It tells the story of Sanjay, a carefree boy who changes immensely with a new goal in sight. He goes through heavy mental and physical transformation to compete in an inter-collegiate bicycle race after his elder brother is unable to participate due to an injury. 

Iqbal (2005) 

This is a sports drama film written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. The story follows Iqbal, a boy who has a hearing and speaking impairment. He dreams of playing in the Indian cricket team and requests a retired coach who is now an alcoholic, to train him.
