Fukrey 3 has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and given a U/A certificate. However, the CBFC asked for a few minor changes to be made.
In one instance, visuals of world leaders, like the former President of the Unites States of America, Donald Trump, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin etc. were seen on a poster in the film. The authorities have asked the makers to remove the poster.
The CBFC also asked for a change to the dialogue 'Jaise Sanju baba ne Maqsood bhai ko jhappi daali', which refers to a scene from Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), where Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) hugs a cleaner, Maqsood (Surendra Rajan).
The edit list mentions that the dialogue was 'modified suitably' by the makers. Lastly, an anti-smoking health advertisement was added at the beginning and after the first half of the film.
Once the makers made these changes, the CBFC granted Fukrey 3 a U/A certificate. The film will be released in theatres on September 28.
