He displays his internal struggle in an impactful manner. In a heartbreaking scene after him brother's death the anguish in his eyes is haunting.

Border (1997)

Shroff has very little screen time in this ensemble film but managed to make huge impact. He appears during a moment of high tension and maintains it until the release, which he does with much swagger.

Khalnayak (1993)

In this stylistic anti-hero film with an almost dreamy aesthetic, Shroff plays the stoic and intimidating Inspector Ram with conviction. His stature looms over everyone creating a daunting image on screen. The fight sequences are especially memorable with the chemistry between him and Sanjay Dutt.
