Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye (2023) - Prime Video

This film written and directed by Raj B. Shetty, also features him playing the role of a terminally ill patient who is carefree, reminding you of Aman or Anand. A counsellor befriends him and their bond flourishes as the inevitable end awaits them.

Minari (2020) - Prime Video

This heartwarming tale of a Korean-American family struggling to keep their dreams alive amidst several challenges. While the film will tear you up, it is also sprinkled with some light-hearted moments featuring the youngest in the family, David played excellently by Alan Kim.

Sadma (1983) - MX Player

The acting stalwarts Sridevi and Kamal Haasan come together in this melancholic drama that has a man taking care of a woman who has regressed to childhood after an accident. Sridevi is at her best in the whole film, but Kamal Haasan steals the show in the heartbreaking climax scene.

The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) - Netflix

The biographical drama has a father-son story at its centre, with real-life father-son duo Will Smith and his son Jaden playing the roles. While the story is inspiring, the characters' struggles move you.
