The story is of a woman who bumps into a stranger and ends up swapping her box for an engagement ring that was for somebody else's. The process to find the stranger to return his box back, leads her to the one she's meant to be with.

Ok Kanmani (2015) 

This romance drama directed by Mani Ratnam is the perfect remedy for winter blues. It is the story of Adi and Tara who are exploring themselves, live-in relationships and love. The swoon worthy romance and music would make any winter day better. 

Shutter Island (2010) 

Directed by Martin Scorsese, this film is about two U.S Marshals who are sent to an asylum on a remote island, in order to investigate the disappearance of a patient. Along this process, they uncover a shocking truth about the place.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) 

The story is about Joel, who  finds out that his girlfriend, Clementine, has erased him from her memories and decides to do the same through a clinical procedure. This film is a very uncharacteristic romance and makes for a great watch during Christmas. 

Padosan (1968) 

This musical comedy directed by ​​Jyoti Swaroop is an extremely heartwarming watch.The story is about Bhola, who falls in love with his neighbour, Bindu. In order to woo her, he seeks help from his musical friends but faces competition from Bindu’s music teacher who is also in love with her.  

Shrek (2001) 

This first part of the fantasy franchise, is directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson. The film is about a lonely ogre in the land of fairytales, who agrees to go on a mission with a donkey to save a Princess. This hilarious animated film is a good comfort watch during Christmas time.
