The director of the expansive Lord of the Rings trilogy made a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in the first film as a drunken man with a carrot.

Alfred Hitchcock

The master of suspense was known for making cameo appearances in many of his films. These appearances were often brief and sometimes humorous.

M. Night Shyamalan

The eclectic director is known for taking on roles, both big and small, in many of his films, including The Sixth Sense (1999) and Signs (2002).
