Mektoub, My Love: Intermezzo (2019)

Much of Director Abdellatif Kechiche's film contained uncomfortable close-ups of body parts, leading to mass walkouts during his premiere. It doesn't help that he has been accused of sexually assault.

Crash (1996)

David Cronenberg's erotic thriller consists of a lot of graphic scenes in cars, and the premiere ended with walkouts, boos and whistles. Despite that, Crash is widely regarded as a good film.

Southland Tales (2006)

Director Richard Kelly sets Southland Tales in a dystopian America under nuclear attack. The film was heavily booed at the festival for... being not good.

Love (2015)

Love is a 3-D porno film. Members of the audience were subjected to 3-D ejaculation. Must we go on?

Brown Bunny (2003)

Brown Bunny drove critics out of their seats during its screening, with Roger Ebert calling it "the worst movie in the history of the Cannes Film Festival."
