This romance thriller directed by Amol Palekar is a unique story from Indian Cinema. It is based on a folk tale that follows the story of a spirit who falls in love with a woman and takes the disguise of her husband.

This thriller musical directed by Anvita Dutt Guptan is set in the 1940s. We follow the story of a young talented singer, Qala and the relationship she has with her mother, her art and a past that haunts her. This story is a deep, dark insight into the tumultuous state of Qala’s mind.

This thriller drama directed by Kornél Mundruczó is a story of a woman coping with grief and loss following her tragic home birth. The couple struggle to recover from the loss of their child and a court trailer ensues with the midwife. 

Kappela (2020) - Netflix 

The film is about a young woman, who falls in love with a stranger after dialing his number by mistake. The story takes an unforeseen turn when they decide to meet each other in the city and are faced with another stranger.
