The Love triangle story 'Cocktail' primarily focuses on romantic relationships, the dynamics between Gautam, Veronica, and Meera as roommates add depth and complexity to the storyline.
It revolves around three male roommates—Rajat, Nishant, and Vikrant—who live together in a flat in Delhi. Each roommate has his own love interest, and as their relationships progress, they find themselves venting frustrations and seeking advice from each other.
The central character, Ben Stone (Seth Rogen), lives with his best friend, Jason (Jason Segel), in a messy bachelor pad. When Ben has a one-night stand with Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) that results in her pregnancy, their lives become intertwined.
Harold Lee (John Cho) and Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) are roommates living in New Jersey who embark on a wild adventure to satisfy their craving for White Castle burgers. As they encounter various obstacles and eccentric characters on their journey, their friendship is put to the test.
Tashi (Imran Khan), Arup (Vir Das), and Nitin (Kunaal Roy Kapur) share a cramped apartment in Delhi and get into trouble when Tashi's girlfriend accidentally switches their bag containing smuggled diamonds with another bag containing stool samples.
While not directly related to a roommate story there are brief moments where Yudi (Saif Ali Khan) and Aanchal (Ileana D'Cruz) are roommates and it's a Delight to watch. Yogi and Yudi are also Roommates with great moments together.
Ram, a theater actor, impulsively decides to rescue Mandar, who is attempting suicide, and offers him a place to stay in his apartment. Ram tries to solve Mandar's Problems. At one point Ram seems as the Anti-Hero of the film.
