She is the recipient of four Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Awards and the Padma Shri which she received in 2005. She is the voice of iconic songs like Hawa Hawai from the film Mr.India (1982), Tu Hi Re from the film Bombay (1995).  

Usha Uthup 

Usha Uthup is one of India’s most unique and iconic singers. She has received a Padma Bhushan award in 2024 along with other accolades for her music. She is the voice of the title track of the popular show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai along with songs like Koi Yahan Nache Nache from Disco Dancer (1982) and Hari Om Hari from Pyaar Dushman (1980).

As one of the most prominent singers of Bollywood since the 90s, she has received many accolades including two National Film Awards, seven Filmfare Awards and a record of thirty-six nominations. She has been the singer in forever loved songs like Ek Din Aap from Yes Boss (1997), the title track from Hum Tum (2004) and Agar Tum Saath Ho from Tamasha (2015).  

Monali Thakur 

Monali Thakur has been the singer for many lovely songs like Khudaya Khair from Billu (2009) and Chal from October (2018). She is the recipient of several awards including a National Film Award for the song Moh Moh Ke Dhaage from the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015) and a Filmfare Award for the song Sawaar Loon from Lootera (2013).
