Memories Of Murder (2003) 

This is a South Korean crime thriller directed by Bong Joon-ho. Set in the late 1980s, the film follows two detectives, Park Doo-man and Seo Tae-yoon who lead an investigation about the sudden case of rape and murders taking place in the outskirts of a small town.

This is a Pakistani drama film written and directed by Saim Sadiq in his feature directorial debut. The story follows Haider, the youngest son of a traditional Pakistani household. Following a long spell of unemployment, he takes up a job which leads him to new experiences, feelings and a whole new world of possibilities.

This is a romance crime film written and directed by Wong Kar-wai. The story follows two policemen in Hong Kong who go through struggles after one of them falls in love with a mysterious woman and the other falls for a server at a restaurant he visits often.

This is a Japanese family drama film directed by Yasujirō Ozu. The themes in this film explore the changing culture of Japanese families. The story follows an elderly couple who visit their children and grandchildren in the city of Tokyo. During this visit, many dynamics within the family change.

A Separation (2011) 

This is an Iranian drama film written and directed by Asghar Farhadi. The story focuses on the conflicts faced by a separated couple, their daughter and the man’s elderly father, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. 

Capernaum (2018) 

This is a  Lebanese drama film directed by Nadine Labaki. The story is told as a flashback of the life of Zain, a poor young boy who runs away from his house after his parents marry off his underage sister. Later, he is presented in court for a crime and goes on to sue his parents. 

Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959) 

This is an Indian romantic drama film directed by Guru Dutt. The story follows Suresh Sinha, a film director who falls in love with an orphaned woman and helps her become a famous star. However, a twist of fate changes the course of both their lives.
