This Salman Khan-starrer helmed by Prabhu Deva was based on the 2006 Telugu film Pokiri, which was directed by Puri Jagannadh and starred Mahesh Babu.

Singham (2011)

Rohit Shetty directed Ajay Devgn's titular policeman in this remake of the 2010 Tamil film Singam, which was directed by Hari and starred Suriya.

Drishyam (2015)

A remake of the Malayalam film of the same name starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the remake was helmed by Nishikant Kamat and starred Ajay Devgn.

Begum Jaan (2017)

Srijit Mukherji remade his 2015 Bengali film Rajkahini, casting Vidya Balan in the role originally played by Rituparna Sengupta.

Dhadak (2018)

Dharma Productions remade Nagraj Manjule's breakout Marathi film Sairat (2016) as Dhadak, with Shashank Khaitan directing and Ishaan and Jahnvi Kapoor filling the shoes of Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru respectively.

Ujda Chaman (2019)

Abhishek Pathak's remake of the Kannada film Ondu Motteya Kathe (2017) starred Sunny Singh, playing the role fulfilled by the original film's writer-director Raj B. Shetty.

Shaitaan (2024)

Based on the Krishnadev Yagnik-helmed Gujarati film Vash (2023), the remake is directed by Vikas Bahl and stars Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R. Madhavan in the roles originally fulfilled by Hitu Kanodia, Niilam Paanchal,and Hiten Kumar respectively.
