Despite playing a violent role, Ranbir Kapoor shared that he maintains detachment post-shoot, highlighting the importance of not carrying the character home for the sake of his loved ones.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned for his work in Arjun Reddy (Telugu, 2017) and Kabir Singh (Hindi, 2019), directs Animal.
The film's music is helmed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, previously associated with the director of Arjun Reddy (2017) and Kabir Singh (2019).
