Video Of The Day: The Epidemic of Passable Movies

YouTube channel Nerdwriter put up an interesting video discussing the sheer amount of 'passable' films being made in Hollywood. These movies are not bad, not amazing either, they just about manage to make a movie watchable.

YouTube channel Nerdwriter's video on this on-going epidemic of the sheer amount of films being made in Hollywood, that are merely 'passable' is very interesting. Kevin Hart and Kaley Cuoco starrer The Wedding Ringer (2015) is used as a prime example. The film, though dismissed by the critics, was a solid box-office success. A scene from the film is shown as a demonstration of how awkward a conversation between the two protagonists can be if the makers are trying to do many things at once, and collectively doing injustice to the entire film. More examples include Doctor Strange, Jurassic World and even Intersteller
