FC Trailer Talk: Mubarakan

Arjun Kapoor will be sharing screen space with uncle Anil Kapoor for the first time in Anees Bazmee's next, Mubarakan. The film also stars Athiya Shetty and Illeana D'Cruz. Arjun Kapoor will appear in a double role as Karan, the spoilt son from London and Charan, the sweet and simple turban-wearing Sikh from Punjab. While Karan isn't interested in getting married, Charan is looking for a bride.

The lead actresses are also portrayed as opposites – while Athiya Shetty (playing Binkle) is sundar aur sushil, Illeana D'Cruz (as Sweety) is fierce and independent. Anil Kapoor, who has collaborated with the director and delivered hits like No Entry (2005) and Welcome (2007), will also don a turban for his role as the genius, who has a solution for everything, Kartar Singh.

In typical Anees Bazmee fashion, the trailer shows a large Punjabi family in the process of getting their sons married and all the craziness that comes with it.

The film is produced by Sony Pictures, Network Productions, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. The film is slated to release on July 28.
