In his prolific career that spanned across five decades, Nasir Hussain was associated with a lot of musical hits. Having started off as a writer and later turning director with Tumsa Nahin Dekha in 1957, Hussain added "producer" to his list of designations with Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai. And the man used to keep flitting between composers in his initial days as director/producer (until he happened to work with one Mr. R D Burman in the 1967 movie Teesri Manzil). Jab Pyar.. had music by Shankar-Jaikishan, the only Nasir Hussain directorial/production that the composers ever worked for, though for no particular shortcoming of their own; the duo created a fine soundtrack that contained some amazing songs by Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar.

Best Song of Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai: Though Sau Saal Pehle gives it a tough fight, my favourite shall remain Teri Zulfon Se. Hasrat Jaipuri's golden lines and Rafi's rendition of them just can't not tug at your heart strings!
